![]() For most people, the HDRIs the suite provides are more than enough. It’s understandable that they didn’t add this feature - it would take a lot more work to guarantee a good experience for everyone with the wide array of formats and having to generate thumbnails on the fly all within a Cinema 4D plugin. The one thing it’s missing is being able to use the HDRIs you’ve amassed in the past from other sources. It’s really great and will be a huge boon for my image based lighting work flow. Seeing how nicely they solved that problem, while providing hundreds of HDRIs, I picked up HDRI Link Suite from their website on launch day. I laughed when I watched the intro video to HDRI Link because Chad from Greyscalegorilla demoed the exact problem I had when setting up image based lighting - I spend a silly amount of the time navigating my hard drive, finding my HDRIs, and picking the right one for the task. ![]() Using your own HDRIs in Greyscalegorilla’s HDRI Browser and HDRI Link ![]()
